so I knew the grinds were finer than the more expensive machine, put it on 2 dialed in a
-
The fact that I could do this is actually a plus IMHO, feels like the machine will last forever since it's user serviceable.
-
but if you want fresh ground beans for a normal household this machine will do the trick.
-
The machine is also very messy
-
I was initially struck by how difficult this machine was to assemble
-
I will update if the machine develops and issues as this is a first-day review

When the machine is set to grind level 1 it is VERY fine - too fine for espresso.
-
I cleaned up the machine to return it, but then thought, maybe I should try turning the dial to the left, in case the manual was wrong, and I got a very fine grind
-
Then i proceed to hit and slap the machine until the beans funnel down
-
The machine itself is less noisy than my previous Kitchen Aid grinder

It's not angled enough to get all the beans into the burr so you have to turn it on a couple of times and shake the entire machine to get all the beans into the grinder

Great machine
-
It really is a beautiful machine
-
I grind for espresso only and this machine does the trick at the lowest setting

It is quite big putting to our compact expresso machine, but it serves us very well.the aluminum surface is easy to clean and it has a super handy push-in trigger to grind the exact amount you want for your coffee
