I suggest reading directions on box as well as on the user guide.

In fact the pump showed my bicycle tire at 67psi at the end of the pump, after I removed the nozzle as fast as I could the pressure was below 50.The fact that it died so quickly and others have commented on that as well, says they need to QC the product.

I purchased this compressor for my recumbent trike tires, as well as for my car

I keep the portable 12 V pumps like this in the trunk of each car--for travel or emergency filling only.

A design suggestion would be to change to a Rapid-T Valve (like found on good bike floor pump) to clip on rather than screw on to attach to the tire

I’m sure it’s fine for some bicycle tires maybe even dirt bikes and atv’s but not designed for extended use
