    • This printer makes decent color, and black and white pages.
    • Epson has a different shaped orifice on each ink well filling port, so it is impossible to insert the wrong color ink bottle into the wrong color ink well
    • I think that for the price, if you're looking for a good two-sided color printer for day-to-day work, this is a great machine

    • The ink tank ports are color coded and the bottle heads with only mate with the correct corresponding tank port to keep you from loading the wrong color into a given tank.4
    • I highly recommend that you set this up when you are *free* from *interruptions* as you want to make sure that you put the right color ink in the correct tank, as there are no do-overs on that part.

    • I printed a few black and white photos as well as color, they printed quickly and the quality was on par with our HP 8600.
    • Filling the ink wells initially was very simple and the one thing Epson did was make it IDIOT PROOF, since I am sure there are those out there who might absentmindedly try to put the wrong ink color into the wrong well, which would be a disaster when going to print
    • You can see the ink tanks with the level of ink right on the front of the printer, although the colors don't show up nearly as bright as they do in the product photo.
    • I do like how they keyed the bottles to only mate with the correct color

    • The sheets printed nicely, easy to read and with good colors
    • But, if you are printing from web pages or other sources such as PowerPoint, Excel, etc, which use "spot color" versus continuous tone (photos) this printer will give entirely satisfactory results, since you are printing solid monochromatic colors in documents/text with bar charts or in outline content with solid colors to differentiate subject matter in text
    • Accurate color
    • Print quality is very good and the colors are bright but it looks even better when you use higher quality paper.
    • When color is unnecessary, black and white may be selected
    • If you were to add the wrong color to a tank it would be a difficult fix
    • The colors are vivid, and the print jobs are high quality
    • so my expectations for photo type images within this Epson printer are realistic, this printer is just low quality; dull, faded looking, not true colors, no sharpness
    • For my particular business, we also have a need for color-accurate photocopies
    • It is really very good, even doing color copies great
    • The color of the text isn't amazing, either
    • Although I'm very careful, I can't imagine trying to 'fix' putting the wrong color in a tank

    • Make sure you put the right color in the right tank.
