• Reviews around plastic (2.33 of 5)

Epson Expression ET-3700 EcoTank Wireless Color All-in-One Supertank Printer with Scanner, Copier and Ethernet

    • Other downsides include a longer process for loading and charging ink; a small 100 sheet paper tray; and chintzy plastic construction.
    • How many times do you think you can flex this plastic before the plastic will break?
    • The plastic of which the 2750 is constructed is not particularly rigid, and conducts noise when the printer is printing to a greater extent than other printers in the same price range
    • The automatic document feeder is REALLY cheap, very thin plastic: doubt that it would last.
    • I would keep paper towels at the ready and lay plastic around the tanks
    • There is a clear plastic shield over which the paper passes when coming through the ADF
    • The only disadvantage is that the body of the printer is made of cheap, lightweight plastic that feels rather flimsy, other than that I have no issues.
    • I can work a long cotton swab down into the area but attempts to pull it free seem likely to damage the plastic, and I doubt I could get another
    • It is definitely cheap plastic like other reviews have mentioned
    • The size of the printer (smaller that H/P) is nice however I would rather have better capacity for paper handling and faster copy speed7
    • The mechanisms work as if it is printing but the print head has stopped working and it delivers blank pages in spite of full ink supply and clean print head
    • Despite the cons, I would definitely recommend this printer as of now.(I will also note that I DID pay full price for this printer and received no compensation at all
    • I liked that they warned you it could stain (especially as I did this on my dining room table, which I then protected well) and that you can’t mismatch the ink to receptacle.
    • It works pretty much the same as with other Epson printers and installation was not too painful (A CD-ROM was included but there was a sheet of paper directing me to a URL to use instead to get the final version of the software)
    • Not only are they tanks but they hold a TON of ink, well not really a
    • n’t have to scratch with your fingernail to grasp it
    • n’t have complicated OCR work to do anymore and that’s why I stopped using ABBYY in the first place
    • I sort of miss not having an automatic document
