Unfortunately, most of my medium format negatives are cut to a non-standard size, so I improvised an additional holder using mat board, as recommended on one forum

How can I say this, but the glass is nothing more than a plan piece of cheap-o windowpane glass, not like the solid glass that Epson scanners used years previous, and the glass is not "smooth"
