Because there are no inexpensive scanners that scan 16mm movie film like they do with Super 8mm, I even bought an adapter to scan some 16mm movie reels and even though it was never designed for that type of film, it does a really good job of restoring the frames

How can I say this, but the glass is nothing more than a plan piece of cheap-o windowpane glass, not like the solid glass that Epson scanners used years previous, and the glass is not "smooth"
