Because there are no inexpensive scanners that scan 16mm movie film like they do with Super 8mm, I even bought an adapter to scan some 16mm movie reels and even though it was never designed for that type of film, it does a really good job of restoring the frames

It does a nice job however and a plus is that if you are still one of the few who wants the scanner to adjust colors for you then this might be ok

And the ICE software can do a good job removing dust etc but it leaves artifacting around edges too much

How can I say this, but the glass is nothing more than a plan piece of cheap-o windowpane glass, not like the solid glass that Epson scanners used years previous, and the glass is not "smooth"
