For years, I have been looking for a scanner capable of scanning, restoring, and improving my color slides and old color negatives

Tech support blames the slide but all our slides are mounted in the same agfa plastic frames

I recently found some 1930's negative film slides and the HP was horrible

I've been using this scanner for about a month, scanning hundreds of 35mm negative strips, some 35mm positive slides, a few medium format negatives, and also some prints

I have yet to try slides and the digital ICE doesn't work on prints.

However, slides and negatives for some reason, are terrible

This product works well, but as a number of other reviews say, the slide/negative carriers are very flimsy and will not hold even moderately curved negatives.

Scanning negatives and slides like a champ!

I cannot recommend this unit due to the terrible failure when scanning slides

Low price for a product that is easy to set up, has a great manual that installs with the product, and converts negatives and slides with incredible clarity.

I have now scanned, restored, and enhanced over 1,000 color slides that had been sitting in storage for over 30 years

It has the ability to scan medium format negatives and 35 mm slides, but I don't have any on those formats

I am enjoying scanning slides that are over 60 years old and I am amazed at how well they are turning out

Another grave disappointment is the silly plastic slide holder

The Digital ICE setting is only available when scanning negatives/slides however.

It comes with a 35mm slide/negative film holder, which can handle 4 slides to scan at once, which still can be time consuming.

needed a decent, reasonably cheap but still quality photo, slide, and negative copier all in one

Scans 50 year old degraded slides, and allows them to be brought back up to a usable state with photo editng software that is readily available.

Fitting slides into that thing is a pain, and as others have said, they are pretty flimsily made
