I was very happy with this product but now 6 months later it has a fatal error

The printer works fine, prints quickly and accurately, but randomly gives an error that says something along the lines of fatal error, restart printer

Docking 2 stars because the printer should not get an error while idling.

so unless you have super high cable service, half the time my two laptops and the desktop computers gives a negative/error message.

Second one I’ve purchased in 6 months that has gone to fatal error and cannot be fixed.

It eats up ink and constantly gives me error messages that won't clear

Now, literally one year to the day since I bought it, it's having the same dreaded 031008 error everyone else has been complaining about

I still cannot print anything as this error is a non fixable problem.

Additional ink purchased December, 2017.The printer stopped working in March and I asked my son-in-law, who is an IT Consultant, to find out what the unknown error code was.

Error after Error messages, Stopped Printing mid-cycle, failed faxing documents without notification of difficulties, wasted paper by poor print quality, running low on ink messages when there was more volume than displayed, etc.,
