The print quality is good when it works, but I have had to run maintenance on the print head alignment and/or print head cleaning at least every other week due to blurry or misaligned prints, which uses up a lot of ink

I have cleaned the print heads and run all of the utilities and the prints are still unacceptable

Not happy with it head already malfunctioning.

The unit requires excessive head cleaning, which eats up expensive ink cartridges

Spent a few hours cleaning the printer head so that it will work again.

It also never cleaned the printer head fully and color images always have stripes of missing ink going through them

I ran through two black cartridges and a full set of color cartridges trying to clean the heads; I cannot believe that it would use up entirely a set of new color cartridges, but it kept getting hung up during the printhead cleaning cycle and displaying 031008.

Have tried to clean heads multiple times and STILL can't print properly.

We called again and they said to clean the head.

Well, cartridges were easy, but how do you clean a print head whose only sanctioned method of cleaning is to do so within software, which you can't get to when an error screen is keeping you out

After calling Epson they told us to clean the head.

We've changed the cartridges (goes through ink about as quickly as it prints), cleaned the heads, aligned it, ran through all the maintenance features.... no luck.

Less than a year later this printer has an unresolvable error - 031008 that required multiple changes of printer ink and head cleaning

We re-set the machine, updated it, cleaned the print heads and kept getting the same errors.

It is mind boggling as to why people think it’s slow, I’ve never had any issues at all
