In there event any Epson engineers look at the reviews of this product I would suggest that the ability for the printer to turn off is not so bad if it is to prevent nozzle clogging, but let it wake from a LAN or WiFi request, clean its nozzles, and then become functional.

have it clean the nozzles every 24 or 48 hours or whatever is needed.

The print heads clog and that requires a lot of time and using a lot of costly ink to run through the nozzle cleaning process multiple times
