The preamp mounting curve is designed to be fitted to the upper bout of a right hand guitar or the lower bout of a left hand

but I found that it still fitted ok to the lower bout of my right hand guitar

It just need little patience and steady hands to do the cut-out and hole in the guitar for the unit and jack to be installed.
