Combination of the very light plain strings and slightly heavier than usual wound strings make this set almost perfect for Open C tuning, for example (though, frankly, 54 gauge would work better for lowest C string)

missing 1st E and Eon the 6th did not fit through machine head.

I FINALLY had to substitute the fist E string with one of the second strings from another packet, which my calipers show to be the same diameter
