I mostly prefer the Ernie Ball brand because they're wound all the way to the end instead of the cheap two wire end most bass strings have

Let me preface by saying these are not my preferred brand, as I generally play flatwounds and like a dead-er tone

I probably will change brands next time just to experiment, but I'd still recommend these and will come back to them if I find nothing better.
