Great strings but gauge too big for me.

These Super Slinky Bass are an effective light gauged string

Son is 10, good gauge for his fingers and a short scale bass.

Light gauge is easy to play

All in all this is the best gauge which i like most because i use them for recording and shows they give a very good punch.

I like the bigger gauge on the higher strings.

Considering I'm on a tight budget and I liked the gauge of this set, I decided to give some Ernie Ball strings a try

I've had to re-tune my bass a few times after the strings "settled" in, but otherwise I've been happy with the sound and value and would gladly recommend these strings to any bass player who's on a tight budget but needs good heavy gauge strings.
