Almost no false readings and picked up on just about every trap or cruiser - be it radar or laser

Works real good , very few false readings

But after buying two 8500 x50s and having both of them continually go into reset, recalibrate mode, give false LASER readings and having to send them back at additional expense for repairs, then having it happen again repeatedly, I am disappointed.

when you get in the car it lets off false readings it keeps going off for no reason I would not buy this radar detector again

I wish it worked a little better but went a little cheaper on this one and has a a few false readings

I had to remove the X and K bands because it seems to be very sensitive and picked up a lot of false readings.

We haven't missed any cops or gotten any false readings on it

I actually find myself driving slower as to really be more aware of the surroundings.

If you are too much of a cheap a $$ to buy a radar detector and you still speed you deserve the ticket
