Essential Phone in Pure White – 128 GB Unlocked Titanium and Ceramic phone with Edge-to-Edge Display

    • Beautiful, very responsive, excellent Android experience
    • I won't go into details but the experience left me fuming
    • Maybe it's the Snapdragon 835 with its 4gb of RAM, but I've never had a better Android experience
    • Been using it for two weeks; certainly have enjoyed the experience of a flagship phone so far, mainly due to the excellent performance as a result of premium material and hardware specs
    • It also runs cool - I haven't had any experiences of the phone running hot.
    • First, I love the "pure" android experience
    • It's slick, smooth, fast, pure Android experience
    • I purchased this phone as a replacement for my Nexus 6; while I really liked the Nexus 6 and the "pure" Android experience, it was long in the tooth and due for an upgrade.
    • I’m a busy person and waiting for 10 seconds, or longer sometimes, when I have emails and work to do ruins my experience with this phone
    • It's just a shame that the launch wasn't a very smooth experience for Essential
    • It is a much smoother experience than it was when this device first launched
    • Great software experience, running on the latest Android build (Android 9.0 Pie). The build quality is great, the ceramic back is pretty durable but for the front panel you may want to get a screen protector
    • A clean android experience
    • It is a gorgeous phone and the pure android experience is great; however the overall experience is not so good
    • However, there are a few flaws that kind of spoil the experience: 1.
    • After using it though you start to notice the terrible touch experience
    • The rest of the camera app is very basic with virtually no settings and limited manual controls:- Good user experience (for example there are no integrated half-baked editor and gallery but links from the camera app to the excellent Google Photos app editor and gallery)
    • I love the simple Android experience I get with this phone
    • PHONE- gorgeous screen (great black levels and punchy colors even though it's not OLED)- great user experience and latest software / extremely fast updates
    • Overall this mobile gave me good experience
    • The android world need more Essential care; so far, the best android experience and support.
    • It offers a pure Android experience without annoying bloatware and UI overlays found in do many other devices
    • I wait like a kid before Christmas for each update since it really improves the phone experience
    • (My Android experience is rather limited, I will admit.
    • Not a good experience, I will try to return this
    • This has been a sour experience and I would not recommend anyone getting this phone for now
    • The experience is like no other Android phone on the market
    • It's a lovely, engaging, experience, although I found that many apps weren't yet programmed to properly use the entirety of the full screen (leaving bands at the edges). On top of the above, you should know that this phone incorporates USB-C, the new USB standard that, unfortunately, isn't directly compatible with your old USB cables
    • Which equals a good user experience at the end of the day
    • Clearly the best android ever, I wish other manufacturers 1) take pride in their devices as experienced with this phone b) listen to their customers complaints and dislikes
    • Great phone, it's an unbelievable experience on this price-tag
    • I love the pure Android experience, light, quick and simple.
    • Great experience
    • Shoddy softwareI returned it after a week of frustrating experience
    • I tolerated them for so long because I liked the experience but after a crash in the middle of the night plugged into my charger causing me to miss alarms I'm done
    • without checking this part of the phone .I have great experience with phone and had a Sim tray that fits the phone and got it working fine but not happy for paying this price for a phone that was Inspected by Amazon
    • In nearly every regard, my experience with this device has been extremely positive
    • Other than that fatal flaw I had a good experience when I was able to actually use the phone.
    • The KeyOne would have been too slow (I need a responsive device that doesn't break the user experience by freezing up)
    • I have experienced only one or two app hang-ups my week with the phone, otherwise it performs quite smoothly
    • A great phone if you love a pure Android experience
    • I do not really understand the bad comments ,maybe bad experiences btw if look the reviews of the galaxys 7 8 or note
    • If you want a clean, well supported Android experience and don't mind a so-so camera, there's no reason to look at any other phone.
    • This is a fantastic, 95% pure Android experience phone
    • others have had, that I have not experienced:-touch issues (screen is very responsive IMO)-fingerprint sensor delays-Essential Customer Support (They have been very responsive in my interactions with them - really an enjoyable experience in the three times I have reach out)If you are looking for the stock android experience on a bezel-less device that feels like a million bucks in your hands that is affordable, then this is your phone.
    • It is a very inconsistent experience
    • This phone is awesome if you're looking for a clean Android experience
    • I have had no bad experiences with glitches or bugs so far.
    • Worst android experience I had since 2010!Got
    • Essentially (pun intended), the phone has a very optimal experience for Android
    • I love the pure Android experience, Android Pie update has improved the battery life and made it smooth and
    • Despite all the negative press, my brief experience with the camera has been great; I guess they fixed all the problems with software patches
    • A stunning looking phone with a great Android experience
    • Obviously I have found some fault with all of them, but so far the Essential Phone has been the best smartphone experience I have had among the lot.
    • The pure android experience is so nice to have and it works smoothly from launching the camera to playing games and switching from app to
    • Since I was unwilling to switch carriers due to my great experience with Verizon's coverage, I looked elsewhere
    • Love the pure Android experience
    • I feel like my oneplus 2 still packs a more solid and complete phone experience
    • Beautiful phone but terrible Google experience
    • The experience really isn't worth it
    • I love the no bloatware experience.
    • Overall, I don't hate this phone, for a company this new, they have done too many things right, but I really can't love this phone anymore, as I am writing this review, I have finally ordered the new iPhone X and decided to end my somehow very pleasant but also not so pleasant android experience
    • If you like android and want a pure android experience and are also looking for a powerful phone look no further this is an awesome phone.
    • If you want to save a little extra money or have a CDMA carrier and need a fast, stock Android experience
    • The build quality of course is stunning but the experience of the functionality is fantastic
    • I love the pure Android experience that Andy Rubin has completely captured with this phone
    • You can customize everything to your heart's content, but if you don't want to bother, you get a nice, clean Android experience out of the box
    • Fast response, pure Android experience, great built quality
    • It is a quality item, build is super solid , the soft wear experience is smooth with no clutter
    • I really wanted a "pure" android experience, since the others I had tried were not
    • I contacted Essential, and it was about as good as a customer service experience can be
    • If build quality, up to date Android releases, a fast, fluid UI experience are things you
    • Pure Android experience is great
    • Using the handset to my ear and using on speaker phone has been a pleasant experience
    • One of the reasons I bought this phone it’s the pure Android experience, having owned Nexus phones before, but Essential does not keep up
    • Essential is: a nice phone for a great value; with a great look and a great android experience
    • This is what Android should be - oustanding hardware, minimal cruft, smooth experience.
    • Then there’s the Essential which leans more towards stock, but adds just the right amount of personalization to make you feel like it’s a unique experience
    • Even the software is not perfect at this moment, but essential keep update the software and keep listening to the client and improve the user experience
    • Android - An almost completely pure android experience
    • If you're not an elitist photographer and want a phone from a company that wants the simplest, purest, freest android experience, then go with this phone
    • It has a much bigger screen despite being slightly smaller than the Pixel 2, which means a better browsing experience, more apps on the home screen.
    • Pure Android experience
    • Average , I prefer LG G6 or V30 for Camera over essential Ph1 however if you expect a best camera experience then this phone may disappoint you
    • I love the screen to body ratio, the pure Android experience, the monochrome mode camera, build quality, and speaker.
    • For talk it's great, but as a music player it's not the best experience.
    • Plus I love the stock Android experiences, hated the unnecessary apps that was preloaded in the most other Android phones
    • In short, the experience with this phone, so far, has been almost flawless for my use patterns
    • My experience with this phone has been perfectly smooth.
    • I can't reiterate how nice a clean, stock Android experience is
    • I have seen many people complain (perhaps their experience was bad) but the price point and the features that you get are great
    • Pure Android Experience: Yes. 100% stock Android
    • And after six months, I started experiencing frequent disk failures, and Essential declined to fix it
    • I am having the worst phone experience that I ever had, and, specially, with the Costumer service!
    • My worst experience with Android
    • Initial Unboxing:It is one of the nicer unboxing experiences I've had with a phone, though I am poorly equipped to compare it to the current competition
    • On the positive I adore how simple this phone is
    • The camera is good enough, not as good as the s7 edge I
    • I really liked this phone its worked great for 2 weeks now the screen doesn't turn on
    • I didn't like the small body, though, as I like the way my Nexus fits in my hands
    • Crosschecked the USB-C to UCB-C cable and (AUT) power adapter, all working fine
    • They include a great charger and USB-C to headphone cable
    • I do wish it had a dedicated headphone jack but the included USB-C adapter works well enough and seems to be of high quality
    • 845 chipset(c) Worst complaint is on the lack of headphone.
    • My Bose QC25 headphones do not work properly with the USB-C/3.5mm adapter
    • No headphone jack (I love USB-C)
    • Every time the phone is plugged in to the charger, any charger, I have several different usb-c chargers, slow, fast, standard usb, doesn't matter, it will not charge
