Essential Phone with Free Earphones - Black Moon

    • Fast operation system and good battery life, camera works much better with software update
    • I wanted something tough, quality materials, fast, good memory, strong battery... in short high quality
    • It checks off the boxes I care about:-minimal bezels-stock android (no bloatware)-premium materials-beautiful-all day battery-fast and accurate fingerprint sensor-price is right at $499-built in storage (128 GB)There are some drawbacks, but these are less important to me:-stock camera app (although much better with the google camera app)-not waterproof
    • It drains your battery MUCH faster than even 1440p screens for almost no actual visual benefit aside from better camera previews
    • Fast with great battery lifeBeautiful design that seems resistant to damageCharges pretty quickly and lasts all day with decent to heavy useLots of storage spaceNo bugs or incompatibility yetFingerprint reader and buttons in a great location
    • The form factor; the feel in my hand; the glassy smooth performance; the super fast booting; the lovely edge-to-edge display; and the (surprisingly) consistently excellent battery life
    • Great screen, great looking phone, great battery life, high quality craftsmanship.
    • Fast and great battery life
    • May. The battery was bad at that time
    • Pros:+Nearly bezeless display+Good battery Life
    • Battery: so far, so very good
    • The battery drains in about 15 minutes off a full charge
    • whose battery doesn't last more than 24 hours straight with constant use, go bother some other company with your litany of bothersome complaints, this battery is fine and serves me Way better than my old Nexus 6p.
    • But for the price point, it's a solid built phone, great battery life, more than adequate display and stock Android is always a great preformer with zero bloat
    • given it's power, good battery life, and massive onboard storage (which has advantages over relying on SD cards), but ARE these issues ever going to be resolved???
    • , I went on vacation to Dr with the galaxy, I never missed a phone so much, great battery life, beautiful phone, camera had improved with updates , they say it's

    • ,I gave charge once a day,the battery is enough
    • One month and 7days after purchasing this phone the battery became dangerously hot
    • * Reasonable battery life
    • Huge bezel, poor battery life, not fast enough pure Android support, and not enough accessories makes this product inferior to the Pixel line.
    • Battery is great and charges fast
    • The battery is really good, at least for me, but its just too bad that all of these software bugs are just making what could be a good phone, a terrible one
    • Speaker: Very loud and clear*Battery: amazing battery life, looks like it will allow for 2-3x the screen on time of the moto x which ranged from 2 to 3 hours
    • So those are some really good charge times and overall battery
    • I contacted Amazon, and they say it's a defective battery and offered a replacement, but I will not take the chance that this happens again
    • Battery is great
    • Battery drain non existent
    • Battery is awesome, screen is awesome, no complaints
    • , definitely would not recommend if it's priced above the $250 point, Battery life is abysmal compared to my old LG G3 and is not user replaceable, had to use a third party program (greenify) to get decent battery life ,otherwise the battery would drain 4-6% per hour, I tried multiple resets, limit background activity on apps that were the worst offenders, I upgraded to Android P Beta still had drain problems, re flashed a clean July Oreo rom and even without apps installed it was still managing to drain 5%/hr with the screen off, wouldn't recommend the headache spend more money on something that works out of the box.
    • But I just got a not so good battery life
    • Battery is outstanding
    • Good battery life, fast charging
    • I like to be able to plug my phone in to charge and plug the auxiliary cord in at the same time to run music for the kids while not draining my battery

    • Materials are top notch, great display and good battery
    • And now, the battery stills quite good. waiting for PH-2
    • Fits well in one hand and has very good battery life for it's size.
    • It does seem to have good standby battery life as overnight it went from 100% to 98%.Charger:
    • Best battery life I've owned
    • Battery is excellent
    • And one last thing I will touch in on, I had a Nexus 5X for a long time, liked it overall (Horrible battery life) but the one thing I did like was the form factor of a 5" phone
    • Many comment said they have good battery life
    • Very fast and great battery
    • Excellent battery life, great build quality and design, and it does everything I need it to
    • The battery so far has been great for a 3040 it lasts me the whole
    • Battery is very good, pure android is smooth, premium feeling and stands out from the crowd.
    • I receive monthly updated after using this phone, which should be the only one other than pixel and Nexus phoneConsNot great battery life

    • Great battery life

    • Speaker: Very loud and clear*Battery: amazing battery life, looks like it will allow for 2-3x the screen on time of the moto x which ranged from 2 to 3 hours
    • Reliable, good battery, not a single issue with any software or hardware, looks and feels amazing
    • Possible battery and camera problems, no headphone
    • The battery is really good, at least for me, but its just too bad that all of these software bugs are just making what could be a good phone, a terrible one
    • Good battery, love the finger print scanner on the back instead of the front.
    • Exceptional battery life for such a powerful phone
    • Fantastic battery life
    • Faster than my nexus 6p , with better camera quality ,same support and great battery life
    • It looks great and feels great- decent battery life
    • No bloatware, quick upgrades, good battery life, you cant go wrong here.
    • That's because in the old days you can just replace the battery and you can prolong your cell phone, nowadays, when the battery dies, your cell phone dies also because you can't change the battery internally.
    • I am willing to have a thicker phone if it means a much better battery
    • As of yesterday, the phone drastically began draining the battery
    • If you don't care about camera quality or phone weight, and are ok with "just decent" battery life, go for it
    • Battery Life - So many reviewers complained about battery life and it was one thing I was concerned about
    • The battery has been very impressive
    • Great battery life
    • Battery is great: +6 hours SOT!Personally, I find the camera more than serviceable
    • I highly recommend it if you want a good looking phone, with good battery life, and great sound.
    • I get terrific battery life and it's only gotten better since I updated to Pie.
    • Very solid build, good battery life
    • However, I am amazed at just how good this battery is
    • This phone checks all the boxes for me: 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a good camera setup, beautiful screen, and great battery life
    • Constant lock ups poor battery
    • With a good size battery and no bloatware this baby lasts me all day and night
    • Perfect phone and outstanding battery life
    • Screen (lovely, the sometimes criticised brightness is more than enough even in direct sun light), working speed and battery (surprisingly decent for the capacity).Noteworthy downsides are the camera (improved software but the output is still nowhere near the top phones, comes not even close to my Nexus especially in low light conditions, installing the Google Camera app helps but there is still a considerable gap), the average at best mobile signal strength and the really weak wireless signal strength
    • When the battery is completely depleted, it will fully charge within an hour.
    • Battery fine.
    • the battery is horrendous for a phone released in 2017
    • Amazing battery life
    • Great concept, great hand feel, looks good, good battery, but just not ready to compete with other premium flagship phones
    • All the speed and quality of an iphone or galaxy without the bloatware, great battery life, and 128gb built in storage
    • The battery is better than most Android phones I've owned with the exception of the battery king
    • I had high hopes for this phone, but even after endless customization I could not get the battery, temperature, and even just basic responsiveness to work right
    • Great battery life etc
    • Pros:- wonderful battery
    • The phone is amazing, anyone who tells you otherwise is probably not technologically inclined Awesome battery life
    • The Essential Phone has a lot to offer: stock Android, great screen, decent battery life, and expansive storage.
    • It drains your battery MUCH faster than even 1440p screens for almost no actual visual benefit aside from better camera previews
    • other than coming in non original packaging with no accessories other than a cheap usb-c cable and fast charger, the phone absolutely looked brand new, and has great battery life
    • This phone's battery was completely dead out of the box
    • Beautiful Build, solid Specs, Great Battery life
    • If I use it normally it will get down to 20% by noon, significantly weaker battery than my previosu phone.
    • Insane battery life for my usage
    • Once the battery starts expanding, it'll be less waterproof than one with a replaceable battery!Buyers Beware!!!
    • : the battery was never great and getting worse as it aged, and I was getting tired of carrying this giant thing in my pocket
    • Great Battery Life and fast charge.
    • Battery seams good so far
    • (usually)-- Good haptic feedback-- Fast fingerprint reader-- Good battery life: full day under all but heaviest usage, 2 days with light use, 7 hours SOT (50% brightness),
    • FANTASTIC battery life.
    • So far, the battery is my ONLY reservation and not because it doesn't last longer compared to others, but because I love this phone so much I use it for almost everything.
    • I get great battery life, about 6hrs on screen time
    • Great battery life and a great phone!
    • One Plus.. It also doesn't have good battery life
    • Doesn't have trouble running apps, multitasking, etc.+Fast charging is very fast+Battery is great most of the time.+128gb storage is enough for me
    • Good battery life
    • And you will have to buy new Phone Chargers, because it won't charge quickly with other USB-C. And that 360 camera attachment will drain Battery Quickly!
    • I think the lack of bloat apps and the Android version combined give the best battery life I've had.
    • It sucks a ton of the very amazing battery when you use the cam but other than that I can go a whole day and still have juice left over
    • $700 for planned obsolescence - no user replaceable battery
    • However, upon further inspection, I noticed its subpar camera (in no way even comparable to a three-year-old S7), questionable battery life and immediate slowness
    • It's meant for someone who wants good battery life, stock Android, and are overly picky about pictures.
    • Wow what a phone unbelievable speed and efficiency great battery life and the camera keeps on getting better
    • It seems that the battery life actually increased in this preview as well, it seems that Android's new "Adaptive battery" works wonders (I got over 8 hours of SOT a few days ago, with only 20 percent recharging in between, playing Ingress afterwards, which is a heavy battery drainer normally). Also, the general smoothness of the device got noticably better, the animations on P are really nice (even though I still hate the new Android design, lol)
    • Great battery life, and I love the edge to edge screen
    • even my old Samsung devices didn't get me battery life like this even when they were new
    • Nothing is pre-installed, no apps are baked in that I cannot remove, no unwanted, battery-sucking processes running in the background, and the phone is very customize-able
    • Love it so far, great camera nice bokeh effect in portrait mode, very fast opening as, 0 bloatware, great battery life ( lasts me the whole day) fast charge, overall an easy 9/10
    • LG's and Samsungs I have had in the past rarely locked up, if ever)- Battery is unpredictable (might last all day, but fades really quick)- Camera is downright terrible, even for my standards- Awful reception (I have more dead zones than I ever did before and where iPhone works fine)- Poor support (nobody's heard of this phone)- Volume Controls are all over the place, change at random, and have limited setting options
    • Good battery life
    • It just works as
    • Regarding the negative:[-] Delay in saving the picture when using the default camera app (this don't bother me too much as I didn't take photo that
    • I have never broken a
    • It worked as good as on my Nexus 5x
    • but it lacks some of the features that the rear facing camera includes those features being portrait mode, 120 frames per second slow motion, monochrome video and monochrome photo, as well as we don't have a front-facing flash on this device
    • and it may not be as smooth as a
    • Screen is clear and bright (IPS In Plane Switching), but it's not OLED, so if you use in bed at night, the screen doesn't dim down as much as I'd like (compared to my old Nexus 6 OLED screen).
    • just works as it should for me.
    • Updates are available at least as fast as on Google's own phones, if not sooner
    • A couple of my installed Apps are not working as yet, but they will be updated soon.
    • I did a couple weeks of reading and research on it as well as the OnePlus 5t and thought what the heck I'd give it a shot
    • n’t have signal in most of house and I missed a lot of phone calls, but the phone is great build and overall a great product except if you have low signal in your house it will compromise your call quality up to having missed calls
    • I still recommend the One Plus 5T over this if you have the extra money or have a CDMA carrier
    • 3T has a mediocre camera and it blows this phone away
    • Arguably the 5T is better than the Essential, stats-wise, but the elegant design and stock Android won out in the end.
