Yes, I know that there are any number of portable chargers that will supposedly do the job, but the problem I have run into is that between the aircraft vibration and the center of gravity being pretty far out--especially with a usb cable coming straight out--they can fall out of the power socket far too easily.

I deducted one star because the charger emits a very slight high pitched whine, but this is only audible in a quiet room and disappears when a few feet away.
