However, I thought purchasing something similar to this would be the same concept but realized when squeezing the two knob tabs to unlock, it doesn't grip the door knob that well, like a slippery feel.

Good basic door knob baby proofing, however, over time it seems to loosen a bit and you have to squeeze harder to engage.

You have to have abnormally small door knobs for these to work

These are great door know protectors that have helped us keep our 2 year old grandson from being able to open doors that he shouldn't be opening.

My son spun it around a few times until he realized that he could simply put his thumb in the big gaping front hole & grab the door handle w/ enough friction to open the door.

He slammed the door to the wall and broke it.

my grandson who is 2 was able to open every other cover but this one, I even have trouble sometimes opening the doors lol

These have grip spots on them which make opening the door much easier

because one door is better than none I kept them but for $10 , financially I hate to do that
