1st stop Norway, activated the SIM today in an old phone I brought for that single purpose (hot-spot), got data all fine, but when attempting to activate the hot-spot, it tells me "Invalid SIM'

So now I am stuck with a useless SIM for the next 5 weeks in Europe

For the SIM cards that worked it worked great in London, Paris, Vienna, Brussels, Munich and Rome.

So far, the SIM has worked seamlessly in both Sweden and Denmark, and I only turn the data on when I don't have wifi access, which is rare

This SIM is only capable of connecting to the internet

While I was in the US, I ordered 2 of these from Amazon UK for $20 each (including 2-Day delivery to the US via DHL), and now that I'm in Europe, the first SIM is working fine with no issues

This is the best alternative if you want to purchase a SIM card that will work in Europe before you get there.
