I want to start out saying that the odd performance issues I encountered with this were hard to narrow down and it could well have simply been a defective mic.

I am still on the search for a really good quality mic that works with both of my Apple products.

In comes PowerSeWise with this extremely affordable mic that has enough cord length to run it to my 4K camera with ease

Of course I put a fur wind blocker on it, but the mic gets overwhelmed by the wind on downhill portions

However, the mic I got looks slightly different in certain aspects, like the PDW one is gold under the cover while the other is silver, and is a different brand, USIC VOICE

I thought that the mic was broken and wouldn't work on my DSLR camera but after reading the reviews I realized that I needed to attach the adapter which they provided in the packet

Great mic, comes with a super long extension, and an extra jack.

I used the mic to record some meditations I led as a workshop, this way the meditation recordings could be shared with the students as a support for their ongoing practice after the workshop ended

This mic works perfectly with my Android phone (plugging into the headphone jack without their supplied adapter) and my external voice recorder (plugging into the mic jack WITH their supplied adapter).

Used it in high winds and the sound was a little off but can't blame the mic for that.

Second, this is the BEST Mic at the RIGHT Price.

As you can imagine though, you don't want the most sensitive mic

You can't beat the price for a decent quality mic.

A final note: the mic (probably because it is omnidirectional) is quite sensitive and will pick up quieter noises from all directions
