Four out of eight cameras have terrible to no signals

It took one day of rain for 3/4 cameras to go down, the remaining camera having its video obscured by water

We purchased this system about a year ago and had one camera become defective

THE camera are great, but we are having problems down loading the app to our android phones it tells us the server is not connecting

The cameras constantly freeze, cameras are constantly disconnecting from the wifi

I can view all the cameras on my laptop, ipad or iphone via their app, works very well.

Finally, if you buy a lone camera, it’s $50 with no adapter (last I checked)

No issues except the fact that the camera in my alley sometimes looses signal for a few seconds because of the distance it is away from the NVR box

The cameras are easy to adjust as to where they are pointed

The cameras are pretty high quality and worked flawless day and night and the WIFI works as advertised

I would recommend these cameras to anyone

Out off 8 cameras installed on a 1350 sq ft home,we have one bad camera (verified by changing power supply and antenna).Two more have a weak signal and come on and go off randomly

One camera had night vision blur and Betty shipped a replacement with no questions asked.

Junk - do not waste your time - the housing will not last outdoors, the cameras are low resolution - the documentation sucks the product is cheaply made and worthless.

After explaining my problem via email, Grace called me and, with the help of a technician, upgraded the four older cameras, one by one, until they worked

Two cameras no working more

IP64.I installed two cameras outdoor and after several days of heavy rain, both cameras got water inside and the night vision on one of them failed (the photocell was broken)

The cameras worked really great and Betty with their customer service was definitely helpful with the set up.

NVR settings have some useful camera configurations such as alert sensitivity, alert area etc

After about 2 weeks the NVR and Cameras has really taken on a mind of their own; we noticed that now the NVR now has at least 2 cameras labeled Cam2, look at the label on the top 2 cameras in one of the picture below and you’ll see both are labeled Cam2.5

$500 paid for this system and after 2-days of setting-up the 6 cameras and 2 hours later the SMONET NVR box just up and dies

The cameras are easy to install as long as you have access to a power outlet, adjusting the camera to the desired viewing angle is easily done by loosening 2 screws

To improve reception of your most distant camera, this system have a feature called Repeater that allows to piggyback signals from the weaker camera signal to the one with the stronger response

one camera gone bad in less than a year, bought another one and contacted their customer service to guide to sync this new camera with others and to see on the monitor.

Smonet sent me an email prior to me receiving the system with suggestions for verifying camera operation which helped after installing to determine I had a bad camera

Betty H sent 10db antennas which boosted the signals dramatically and the cameras at a further distance were much improved at three + bars

other than that issue the cameras work great.

One camera is not working at all

Tried Re-pairing cameras as instructed like adding new cameras

I did lots if research fir a camera system that is affordable, easy to install and has a great user interface

One of them the water went inside and camera is not working

But they did resolve my camera issue and I am awaiting a refund of the camera that I bought to replace the faulty camera.

Now they dont work at all, we've tried everything and still the same "no video" the cameras are working because they all have the red lights lit

When one camera quit working, they responded quickly and provided excellent instructions that resulted in the camera working again.

At beginning, I thought installing could be hard with four cameras spreading out the rooms and wires tangling everywhere, but it turned out to be simple

Did have a problem with failing camera but great response from Smonet customer service to attempt to troubleshoot and eventually to provide a replacement camera.

Would recommend the cameras though.
