But really, factoring the price for what you get (with a hard drive included), the convenience of wireless cameras that (so far) have not failed to record video, and some nice features like remote viewing and motion alerts, it really is a pretty good system.

While installing the Hard Drive be super careful the SATA port on the NVR is extremely fragile, only very thin metal pins holding it to the board which easily break leaving the system without the ability to record on a hard drive.
