The hardware is good but not as good as the Yamaha version.
It looks amazing, sounds great, and has a excellent hardware
Otherwise drums are great quality and hardware is solid.
Wow everything was just amazing, the look the sound and the shiny hardware
I highly recommend this for anybody looking for an awesome kit that not only looks amazing and has awesome hardware, but has a beautiful sound!

This is a great sounding and quality kit for new players and my drum teacher said I made a good choice.
I love this kit, I've added 2 smaller toms and some good symbols and this kit rocks hard

Easy to set up...all the items were accounted for and the packaging was great.
I feel like Amazon should have packaged the boxes up inside another box with cushioning for another layer of packaging

I ordered the top-of-the line Zildjian cymbals to go with them, and it's a killer drum kit.
The packaging engineers at Pearl did a great job in developing packaging that keeps the drums safe during shipping.
Now I understand why the drum reviews say this is the best selling drum set for starters.
I spent a lot of time researching a good beginner drum set for our son and this one seems to be the one

I did replace the stock made in China Remo heads with Evans Hydraulic heads because I prefer the deeper, fatter sound.
The full set easily tunes to offer a punchy, full and resonant sound very competitive with much more expensive sets
