The Pip-Boy 3000 itself is made of some glossy hard plastic.

It's surprising sturdy, made with hard plastic and two metal clasps.

i know the pip boy itself is cheap plastic...but for the die hard fallout fan who started playing more than 10 years ago, this is a must have!

Although it is pretty tough plastic and it straps on nicely, the foam inserts for my galaxy s4 didn't fit

The thing will take some getting used to as it feels like you have a cheap plastic cast on your arm but so far it seems to work

It has a black plastic base, fairly sturdy (certainly enough to withstand holding the Pip-Boy itself without an issue), and clear curved stands with square protrusions that seat in the bottom of the Pip-Boy to hold it in place.

Sure enough a screw flew out as well as some random plastic piece

but if you're not than I don't suggest getting it because you won't love it as much as I and many others do
