I've sunk 40hrs in total, finished up the main quests and am now in free roam mode

I finished it and replayed it in super hard mode it was so good

Online mode though, the savegames are often lost, and game semi-crashes to the desktop frequently.

Sure hate the filthy language and the crappy checkpoint approach to saves, not as bad, as in many games, wherein the first time playing, one has to repeat the in between checkpoints repeatedly if playing on expert or difficult modes

They decided to ditch some of the realistic aspects of FC2 and instead went with a more conventional approach with a detailed HUD and map in pause-mode (bad news for me)

I'm old fashioned I guess, because I hate U-play and Steam modes these days to play games, as they are a pain in the rear; a waste of time to get it done and the like, before you ever get around to playing the game.

Many times you'll be standing over the corpse, jiggling the pointer until the magical "Press E to Loot" prompt comes.
