Personally, I would recommend the games predecessor (Far Cry 2) or the expansion (Far Cry Blood Dragon)

I loved Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3 is just as good, if not a little bit more fun

Overall this game is killer and far better than Far Cry 2

I hated Far Cry and Far Cry 2, the games annoyed me and became boring quick

If you liked 2, this one will be a hit for you.

If you enjoyed 2, 3 puts it to shame

That should say it all, this game is by far the best of the series, I pre ordered and completely beat Far Cry 4 as well as 2 when it came out

Even though Far Cry 2 was an enjoyable experience, Far Cry 3 improved in every way possible and fixed almost every flaw from the previous installment

So, to summarize: Get the game if you have cash on hand and you liked Far Cry 2
