Looking at the NAS logs it is continuously receiving the motion detection alarm every second and it never stops

While I had no problem connecting it to the QNAP NAS (QNAP’s surveillance software did not have a profile specifically for this camera but a generic one worked and was automatically selected) and was able to watch live video streaming from it, I had problems getting the motion detection alarm to pass through correctly to the

NAS.I used the PC/web browser plugin (which I could only get working with IE) to access the camera and setup its motion detection alarm and configured it to record to a micro SD card to make sure that the camera side of my setup was working.

However, having 24/7 recording taking place after the first motion detection alarm defeats the purpose of having motion detection in the first place.
