Fellow Ode Brew Grinder, Electric 64 mm Flat Burr Coffee Grinder, 31 Adjustable Settings for Drip, French Press, and Cold Brew, Auto-Shutoff Functionality, Small Countertop Footprint, Matte Black

    • There are some novel design touches such as a knock lever to knock out retained grounds, a magnetically aligning grounds bin that has an internal funnel to pour coffee into small openings such as the one in an aeropress
    • However, if you do not do a good job with the knocker, you put yourself in a really bad position where you mix the air stale grounds with new beans.
    • I'm shaking these grounds into my airtight container.
    • This is a major design flaw which limits the enjoyment from either more maintenance or always have an amount of stale grounds in all your cups defeating the purpose of the upscale grind
    • All the grounds were nice and even for each type
    • This usually ends up being about twice a week and those leftover grinds become stale and mingle with the fresh grounds making for an undesirable cup of coffee
    • Even when I've used the silver tapper device to loosen the stubborn grounds that didn't make it into the cup, once I pull the cup out, there are grounds around its rim, around the counter and on the bottom of the machine floor where the magnet is.
    • I press the chrome bit several times to get the lose grinds out but there are grounds on the lip of the collection cup and, after removing the cup, grinds fall to the platform
    • I bought the Fellow Ode primarily to replace manually grinding 60 g - 80 g in my 20 g capacity manual espresso grinder
    • Bought early as I like their design, but moving parts just aren't their thing.- cannot handle finer grind settings (no espresso nor aeropress)- a ton of retention (grounds stuck in machine)- big mess everywhere due to excess static & flawed bin design- hopper can barely hold 70g of beans- dark roasts will not work at all!!!!!
