This works fine with my solid state amp with a built in noise gate, but with my Carvin Nomad 50 all tube amp this cable causes horrible static.

It DOES NOT WORK without loud static

Even if you plug in the cable with no instrument attached, horrible static.

This line of Fender cables are garbage, junk, and can not be used without loud static
