Even after dark because the optics in the red dot are pretty cheap you have a very hard time seeing the bore site laser

I own a lot of optics from really cheap to high end and this is one of the best cheap optic I've ever bought

This optic is perfect for a BB gun or .22 rifle, not impressed with the quality and subpar red dot that is inside the housing it doesn't give off that much light and I tried a newer battery thinking that a fresher battery would increase amplification of the light and that didn't play a role in the effectiveness of the Red Dot

However, I think it is a great optic for range use, airsoft, or when using a .22 rifle set up like your battle rifle

This optic will work in most temperature ranges from -20°F all the way up to140°F as listed in the manual

I've seen bad optics but this is the first to fail on the second shot.

One thing you want to make sure of when mounting this optic is cleaning the threads on both the mount and the optic and applying a little bit of blue Loctite

This optic is very sturdy when shooting and held up well from the .223 and 5.56 rounds that were shot from it
