Yes the blurry problem was give it time to warm up, and check with on eye closed then the other eye, you may be wearing bad scrip glasses,or have an eye Astigmatism (uncorrected or with prescription) may cause blurry reticles on red dots (Double images) and other(more expensive) prismatic optics

so if you have a blurry reticle try using corrective lenses or another way to check if the sight is
