Cheap plastic lid snapped off when trying to open it

So the bottle is beautiful, and it's made of very sturdy hard plastic, but it's not leak proof in the slightest

I got this bottle for my nephew who never drinks enough, and it is mostly a good bottle, it is hard plastic and the straw works well and is easy to clean all the parts

Perhaps a real handle and sturdier plastic is what it needs.
