• Reviews around gameplay (2.06 of 5)

FIFA 18 Standard Edition - Xbox One

    • it's a good game (great graphics, plenty of game modes, etc) but the gameplay has important flaws (incredibly hard to defend, the ball hits the post too often and some important players don't have likeness) overall if you like the sport you'll enjoy it and will have fun most of the time but also get frustrated from time to time.
    • But gameplay is horrible: passes are too perfect , unrealistic ball physics; players move and change direction like they have blocks instead of shoes, very slow
    • Awesome gameplay
    • Game was amazing initially.. after two weeks a patch RUINED gameplay
    • I don't mind that gameplay is erratic (that's football
    • This gameplay is the worst it has ever been and I've been playing since FIFA 12.
    • This year's game is a small step back in the right direction after some significant regression in the previous couple editions, but EA continues to neglect the most important part of this franchise -- the gameplay itself.
    • Gameplay is the best in a while, feels a lot like fifa 12 or 13
    • Overall the game has good graphics but the gameplay needs work
    • The gameplay is so inconsistent
    • Unfortunately, gameplay is broken
    • Take the disc out and play PES2018, and you will feel and see how a beautiful gameplay should be: realistic passes, players move and feel like in real life, and tactics actually do something
    • The attacking and skills gameplay is pretty good, except the maddeningly unintelligent through balls and lifted through balls that rarely go into space
    • Game has awful gameplay, terrible AI, and goalkeeper mistakes are a constant.
    • Overall:+Gameplay is consistent but lacks huge steps forward+The Journey is back and has more meaning throughout the story+For those looking to try out Ultimate Team, it feels even easier to learn and get into this year+Presentation looks slightly better but on my normal
    • Tired of an unrealistic and pace based gameplay, I switched to PES2016 back then
    • The gameplay itself is slower and while there overpowered longships, I feel like this game runs more like a soccer game and less like kick and run long balls to pacey players
    • Gameplay is not improved over last year’s game.
