I think this player sounds quite good, especially considering the low cost, but the sound you hear will, of course, depend on the earphones/headphones you use with it as well as the quality of the music files you play.

The vivid IPS screen has decent viewing angles as well as nice colors and contrast

The M3K is obviously improved in sound over its predecessor the M3, especially in bass, soundstage size (deeper and wider) and imaging (clearer placement of instruments in the song)

But that doesn’t mean that the M3K sounds bad in comparison to the X1

In Mainland China, high school kids are NOT ALLOWED to bring their mobile phones to class or to the library, thus the M3K serves its purpose as a music companion during studying, or cramping for their ever-so-important “gao kao” national examinations
