    Final Fantasy VII

    • I dislike the music.
    • The tense, rocking music for the boss battles, the creepy alien music when the heroes encounter Jenova (or parts of her), the absolutely beautiful "Aeris' Theme
    • And the cut-scenes are THE GREATEST!MUSIC
    • just get this over withThe Good-I LOVE THE MUSIC IN THIS
    • Now for the music 90% of the games soundtrack is amazing for a psx game its highly catchy and without the music I doubt the game would have been quite as popular as it is today
    • Let's see; the gameplay is perfect, the music is perfect, the battle system is perfect, the character's are loveable, and the best part is...the story
    • The music is great.
    • No, acatually all ff's have great music, except FFX and X-2
    • Amazing music, I must say
    • The music is really cool, and totally fits the game
    • Has beautiful CGI cutscenes, that look better than the in-game cutscenes of Final Fantasy X (in some ways)Has fun gameplay (aside from the mini-games), and will keep you hooked for hoursHas great music, and will keeped you hooked into the game for hours, even if the gameplay doesn't, which it shouldHas an even better storyline, and like Final Fantasy X, if for some reason you hate the gameplay and the music (which is a hard thing to do), the story should keep you glued to your TV set with controller in handHas an easy 30+ hour completion time, without doing the side quests, ideal for those that like lots of gameplay timeHas good player customization (with what you call "Materia"), but not nearly as good as Final Fantasy X (although if you thought it was too time consuming in Final Fantasy X, this is much faster)The battle speed can be set as slow or fast as you want, with many settings in betweenCons:This game has a somewhat high encounter rate; if you're just playing this game for the story, you may want to consider using a cheat code for no random battles or something, as you'll be spending huge amounts of time with the random battlesThe graphics outside of the battles are very awful, using low polygon levelsThe graphics inside of the battles aren't too bad, but still leave a lot to be desiredIf you have much in the way of scratches on your discs, namely where the CGI cutscenes happen to be, look forward to the game going into an eternal freeze, and not being able to do anything about it, except try it on your PS2 or PS3If lots of extreme "French" language bother you, you may not want to play this game, as two of your main characters use these words a LOT and other side characters do as wellThis game comes with 3 discs, so if you are too lazy to get off your rear end after so many hours of play, to switch the discs, then this game is not for you.
    • Music is great, scenery looks amazing, in-battle graphics still impressive (creating the best effect with the technology available at the time), but the on-field characters look comically blocky and kid-like
    • Although the graphics are nothing to write home about (I often became lost on some of the screens, when my character was either impossibly small or blocked from view) the musical score is some of the best music I've ever seen (heard) composed for a video game
    • Sure my enthusiasm may have fizzed down a little bit over the years, but I still think it's a great game.***The music for this game is awesome.***It seems to use piano, flute, trumpet, guitar, drums, and probably some other instruments
    • The characters are special, the graphics were pretty good for its time, the game play was on point and who can really mention Final Fantasy 7 without mentioning the FREAKING MUSIC??
    • The music is beautiful and the movie sequences are amazing
    • Great music
    • Music: Music is definitely one thing that can single handedly ruin an rpg such as repetitive fight music and travelling music
    • The music is just plain awsome.
    • Haven't beaten it yet, but I'm INCREDIBLY impressed with the graphics, great music, and fantastic artwork
    • : It has some good music
    • The sound is top notch with awesome music
    • The music is very much helpful in this respect, evoking the atmosphere which is made all the more powerful by the sublety that i have exhaustively referred to
    • This is a really fun game, with a great storyline, and a great music soundtrack, with stunning CGI cutscenes.
    • The game's music was amazing (for game music) and it had the rare "good Final Fantasy Plotline"
    • The music is so captivating
    • Great music (not CD/symphony quality)Great CharactersGreat VilliansGreat Story lineNice graphics
    • I loved the music on this game
    • The characters were perfect in having stories and tragedies and well the music was absolutley perfect
    • Beautiful gameplay, beautiful story, beautiful music.
    • Final Fantasy VII doesn't have the best soundtrack within the series, but it has some of the most memorable music numbers of the entire series
    • The music is extremely spectacular, one of the most rememerable parts of the game
    • My personal favorite is the music for battle
    • the music was great
    • The music can also be repetitive and sometimes lacking
    • ^_^The music was good, and the character development was about as good as you can expect in a video game with more than four main characters.
    • And the music... is just amazing, heads and shoulders above the music for any other game in the series, or any other game I've played period.
    • But the music is fantastic, the storyline is moderately interesting, and I think it just depends on what kind of gamer you are as to how much you like it.
    • As I said, the music is marvelous
    • Personally I put FFVII at the top of my favorite games of all time, but that's because it holds a lot of great memories of staying up late and enjoying an intriguing story and some wonderful music
    • The music is also amazing
    • Just like Xenogears, it's one of those few games where I like the music
    • The music in this game is both evocative and distinctive.
    • The music is fitting, and fantastic
    • Music/Sound (10/10):I enjoyed the music from this
    • The details regarding the music, battles, graphics and usability of the game are of high quality, even in today's standards (development of the game began in 1994).
    • Also, the music, while very emotional, is very very sad
    • classic storyline, good music, sweet battle system.
    • I did enjoy this game a bit while I owned it, but I do not at all believe it's the best of the Final Fantasies (that honor belongs to VI and IX, in my opinion), and I certainly don't think it's the best Playstation RPG (that belongs to FFIX).Now, on the positive side, this game did have an interesting story, pretty good music except for the dreary town songs, and some good development on a few characters (Cloud, Tifa, Red XIII).
    • The music is absolutely fantastic
    • The music in FF VII unfortunately, was horrible in my opinion.
    • Great Gameplay, Beautiful Graphics, Marvelous Music, and a bit of language (they say a lot of bad words
    • The music in this game is beautiful, as with all the ffs (yea, i have heard the music even though i haven't played em, my friend has all the cds), some songs such as (tifa's theme, sending a dream into the universe, those chosen by the planet, flowers blooming in the church, to name a FEW, set the mood PERFECTLY, and can inspire strong emotion, dependign on the feel of the song)
    • or something.but the chase for this dude takes you to various places like a town with cool music, a mountain with an incredibly unstable railroad track,
    • The music on this game is also awe inspiring, I mean as soon as I could download music (and sue
    • Its the best music of all ff's
    • From the great music to the excellent battle system to the plot with a depth rarely seen in video games to the wonderful graphics
    • This game, until today, still and will spawns new RPGer as its appeal to them its not about the graphics but its storyline and its superb music composition by the FF master musician Nobuo Oematsu
    • The music is beautiful, always fitting, and stays in your head for days.
    • I am a fan of science fiction writings as well as obviously good music and video games
    • Also, the music is very good, but it is no match for Chrono Trigger's and (arguably
    • A incredibly deep storyline, vivid and indepth characters, along with the best music for a game we've ever known.
    • <10 out of 10>Possibly the best music and sound ever.
    • I do believe that the best FF game on the PSX was Final Fantasy IX, for a number of reasons, particularly the characters, the gaming system, and the much more inspiring atmosphere and music.
    • The story is great, the music is ANGELIC, the Materia system can't be matched, and the side-quests will keep you busy for MONTHS
    • FFXII's music and sound is so good!
    • Whats not to love about this game, it has great music, great storytelling & lots of stuff to do that most first time players end up maxing out the in-game clock
    • The music for Final Fantasy VII stays completely consistent with the game as well.
    • Some of the best music ever is on the soundtrack
    • This case is true for Final Fantasy VII while it's graphics are outclassed by VIII I would argue that the former is superior because of a better, more in depth story, better music, different style (I love the dark corporate armaggeddon portrayed in VII) and better magic/battle system.
    • Or when a main character dies (the moment that nearly made me--and a lot of other people--cry at a video game), then that music plays.
    • The games core originates at it's incredible graphics,Finley tuned music,characters,and it's intruiging story.using 3D animations on pre-rendered backgrounds,makes this game a must
    • This game also has terrific music, originally scored by Nobuo Uematsu.
    • It features an excellent storyline, an excellent battle system, AWESOME MUSIC (people by the soundtrack
    • The music was also amazing
    • There are all sorts of pros to the game, but only a few cons...and the cons barely matter!Pros:-An incredible story.-Deep and engaging play.-Beautiful battle graphics and CG cinemas.-Plenty of subquests.-VERRRRY lengthy!-Unique characters.-Hollywood-worthy music.-Plenty of plot-twists
    • When your walking along the road, there's slow music.
    • The music and graphics sticks in my mind like nothing else
    • It is perfectly carried on with what I could only call good direction (perfect timing in the scenes and things like that), great cinematic sequencies and incredible music
    • THE MUSIC IS EXCELLENT!
    • huh?The music is good, but I felt overrated, but it kicks in at the right time
    • The music is outstanding, and really ties in with the story.
    • Alright, not only do I like the music because it puts my little brothers to
    • The music, is well... video game music.
    • Basically, the music is amazing
    • The music is totally totally awesome!
    • its enjoyable, havent found a ff with out music i could live without except ffx-2, the music in that games sucks.
    • this game has 50+ hours of play and 9 diffrent carectors to choose from it has the best music.
    • The music is just beautiful, the song played in cosmo canyon is let alone a reason to get the game sountrack as well as the final battle with Sepheroth.
    • The music is beautiful and will stay in your head for years
    • The story is top notch, the characters are personable and likeable, and the music is the unprecedented champion of the videogame world.
    • The music is by far the best I've heard from the Final Fantasy series
    • Any musician or serious fan of music would most likely enjoy the music a great deal
    • When your battling, there is fierce quick-moving music.
    • The storyline is fresh and the music is just amazing
    • the music is the best
    • Music is subjective though so you may hate it
    • , I loved the music, visuals, story, especially the characters and the whole world/atmosphere was beautiful and there isn't anything that really botherd me except for a few boss battles...other then that this is a must own for the Playstation.
    • The storyline is epic and archetypal but not cliched, the combat is fast paced and engaging, the music is beautiful and the characters are quirky, complex and lovable in a way that you so rarely find in today's games
    • The story is incredible and the music is classic!
    • The music is perfect for listening to outside the game with melodies that will bring you back to your first experiences
    • Although the music is totally annoying, it's too bad
    • This game has great music, especially the ending boss music
    • Lot of GREAT Uematsu music to be heard in this game
    • But the music in the animations, and the mini-games, and the quality of the sound effects, and stuff like that is not bad
    • Although the music is kind of annoying, it's not too bad
    • Also, the music is amazing.
    • There are a few huge [disappointments] (the chocobo battle music) and a few instant favorites (the Safer Sephiroth music, "One Winged Angel")
    • music is just the best I've ever heard
    • Music - melodramatic...
    • X has the graphics,but Final Fantasy VII has a great storyline,good minigames,loads of secrets,huge bosses,and the best music ever.although,sadly,no,you can't revive Aeris,...
    • The music in this game is also great, despite the rather limited selection of sounds Nobou Uematsu had at his disposal.
    • fun to play, good music, great story, all around fantastic game, its would be nice to see it in high def on the ps3 though(remake).
    • some of the best music of any Final Fantasy game
    • THE SERENE YET POWERFUL, BEAUTIFUL YET FRIGHTENING MUSIC TURNED MY COMA DREAMS INTO JOYOUS VISIONS OF WONDER, WHICH MADE ME
    • So because of this plot point and all the rest of the mystery of the storyline and the game's great music
    • Music/Sound (10/10):I enjoyed the music from this
    • Best music in the
    • The sounds in this game are very nice, and the music is amazing throughout
    • The music can be enjoyed with or without gameplay.
    • Not only that, but its characters are timeless and memorable, its story is amazing and emotional and the music is like none other for its time.
    • (the music is relaxing at times), but I also enjoy it adds A LOT to this game.
    • Orchestrated, how would you say, music composed from a symphonic orchestra, just pure classical music
    • Music is actually pretty cool
    • The music is the best ever better that 8,I would say
    • On that note, the music in this game is pitch perfect.
    • The music is like the whole other half of it, with the story and characters being the other
    • The music soothes my soul
    • Apart from that, the music is amazing and the gameplay is fantastic
    • I am giving it one star cuz the music is at least very good
    • However, the graphics during battles are very good (also during cut scenes/movies)Music: 4 stars:Really very good music
    • It has great music, and you are never in the mood not to play it
    • Although now it looks dated, i can assure u that i have yet to play a game that comes close to this, and i own xenogears, PE, PE2 and Final Fantasy 5,7,8,9 and 10
    • It is one of my favorite RPG`s of all time
