• Reviews around dlc (4.08 of 5)

    Fire Emblem: Awakening

    • There is DLC available that gets a little pricy (about $40-50 worth of maps) but most bonus features you can get from a wireless connection are free and great fun
    • Dont forget the DLC as well as the bonus teams from past fire emblem games
    • -Lack of strategic depth -Poor characters in development, depth, and interest -Poor map designs -AI strategy is overly simplistic -DLC isn't bad, but it feels too necessary at times on hard mode -Requires a mode between normal and hard
    • More DLC available at a small price.)+/- Free downloadable characters from other FE games, it's a nice touch
    • Teamwork is encouraged between units, a satisfying story line with plenty of after content as well as DLC for those who choose it, and a great deal of free items which can be downloaded via wifi including "timeless" weapons the player has seen before in other titles.
    • There is optional DLC available to purchase, but you should be completely satisfied with the in-game content
    • The DLC is amazing as well, and really adds to the game
    • Great DLC and replayability
    • There is also a new Co-op mode, tons of free DLC, as well as some paid DLC.
    • Just make sure you get the free dlc before it expires.
    • Usually that would be all from me but this game also offers free DLC in form of maps, characters you can fight to unlock, extra missions, and weapons every now and then which is a huge
    • Also the amount of free Spotpass DLC will be enough for you to play this game to no end
    • I even downloaded most of the DLC (well, the DLC that suited me).The story is amazing, and sad
    • I bought only one map so far of the available DLC and it was
    • The DLC and bonus contents are worthwhile and gives ample opportunities to hone your skills
    • Special free dlc maps that unlock right before the final chapter7
    • I've played through the main campaign multiple times now and appreciate that the DLC feels fair and the game itself is jam-packed with things to do
    • I even downloaded most of the DLC (well, the DLC that suited me).The story is amazing, and sad
    • a love letter to srpg in general and fans of the brand specifaclly with tons of refarances and returning charcters (mostly through free abd paid dlc) and an intresting plot plus for the first time (at least in the english localised games) an avatar of the player!for fans for srpgs and jrpgs in general!
    • I also bought the DLC because I loved the main game so
    • Just make sure you get the free dlc before it expires.
    • The DLC in this game doesn't feel like slapped-together, half-hearted attempts to milk the player of more money, and it also doesn't feel like content that should have been in the game from the beginning
    • And the DLC makes the main story extremely easy, but I don't think that any of that detracts from the game
    • During the first month or so, there is a free DLC including a very special character
    • Free DLC
    • * it, for when I'm just unwinding and don't want to have to worry about resetting if something ridiculous happens; similarly, while the second seal class-change system is kind of an oddity in a FE game (where characters are noninterchangeable individuals) as well as being BROKEN AS ALL GET OUT, it is also true that DLC is almost equally gamebreaking and honestly none of that detracts from how fun the game is, in my opinion
    • Sadly, the DLC characters have generic faces on their 3D sprites, but this is understandable when dealing with having to create a whopping 120 free DLC characters.8.
    • The story is deeper, they give you the option to strengthen your weak team into a formidable army, rewards like new powerful weapons and power ups, an option for current and new players, an option to unlock and have alot of classic fire emblem heroes and villians to join your team such as Ike, Miciah, Leif and good DLC to unlock more maps to battle against classic heroes and classic villians , easy ways to get alot of money and alot of leveling up, plus more
    • The Paid DLC is worth it tooo
    • In order to get past all the countless hours of grinding, you may want to also get the Golden Pack DLC, which is pretty much extra maps that can ease your grinding moments (it's an RPG, so there is always grinding levels and skills)
    • The DLC is nice for getting bonus skills and grinding (especially on Lunatic/Lunatic+ Mode), but aside from that, I wasn't super impressed
    • Awakening is filled with free DLC
    • With streetpass' free DLC paralogue content and some hardcore grinding to max my favorite characters stats it gave me a solid 32 hours of gameplay, that's a nice amount from a handheld and that's not including the paid for DLC content and the replay value
    • The graphics are as good as 3D character graphics are going to get, It's easy to forget you're playing a handheld game with graphics so rich and smoothCons: The only thing I really have to complain about is that once you beat it, there's not very much incentive to continue playing, there's a lot of free DLC you can do, but it doesn't really feel necessary to do it once you finish
    • The DLC is actually worth it
    • SMASH!-Free Spotpass Content is given out on a regular basis.-Cheap yet fun DLC-Dozens of Legendary Weapons to Collect.-Can Recruit Characters from Previous Fire Emblem Games.-Can Recruit your Friends
    • It is a cool little addon (to do this, however, you will need to have WiFi access to get the free DLC stages). All in all a great game
    • Some DLC cut out the grinding from the gameplay altogether, making money or experience very easy to obtain.
    • Endless game play compared to previous games- Flexibility in your ability to create the perfect team- DLC and new classesThings to improve:- Some of the powers (armsthrift and galeforced have dominated the game) and I wish only a few units could use them (like maybe only 1 or
    • FREE DLC (4.8/5)
    • The story is very well done as well, but the DLC seems not worth it.
    • And on a similar note, the DLC is hilarious as well
    • It was a fun game and the dlc it has lengthens playability
    • Great game with good 3-D graphics
    • mutiplayer could have been much better but over all a solid ds game
    • This is no cheap layered 3-D, but actual depth that really impressed
    • Having never played any previous Fire Emblem games, I was not entirely sure what to expect, but I find this to be the best D&D-style video game I've ever played.
    • I even brought my ds to school just to play this game but parents don't worry it is possible to stop playing, it's just an amazing
    • The 3-D is not essential to the gameplay, but it definitely enhances the overall experience by leaps and bounds
    • So, while the metagamer in me would like to say, you should pick class A, B, C for Skills A, B, C, the reality is you will be fine picking whatever class you think is cool
    • Before a fight, you can talk to other people and get support levels (C,B,A,S
