    Fire Emblem: Awakening

    • I absolutely love the series and I think this is a huge step up from the originals
    • One of my favorite things about it is how obviously this game was a labor of love--a true one, made by people who loved the series passionately, and (in my opinion) probably played the series extensively as fans and love it desperately

    • I'd recommend this game to most anyone - I imagine series vets enjoy it, but for someone like me with middling experience or even someone who might otherwise avoid these games, the refinements and added difficulty levels really can help you get into the game and enjoy the series
    • Fire Emblem is an amazing series with tough, but fair turn based gameplay that forces you to pay attention and choose your moves very carefully
    • Hence, the fact that Intelligent Systems gives you access to it for free really shows that they wanted to give the fans of this great series as much as they could for their money.

    • I'm new to the Fire Emblem series, having just started with Fates, but it's quickly become one of my top 5 favorite series
    • Though I wouldn't label the series' former plots masterpieces, this one was definitely the worst

    • The Fire Emblem series is known by all of its fans to be a magnificent series, and the latest entry proves no different, with upgraded strategy and support elements that add a new flair to the dynamics while staying true to the franchise roots
    • Its so nice to see such a great series treated so well.
    • Pros-Music-PresentationCons-Awful story and dialogue which is usually the series' strong point-One dimensional characters that never evolve beyond their character quirks and a marriage system that feels forced an awkward.-Bad support conversations.-Completely broken; Sorcerers, certain skills, child units, pair up, useless classes. and class changing (this is a big one) utterly destroy the balance of the game to the point of it being embarrassing

    • If you like the Fire Emblem series, you will like this.
    • The game introduces these aspects fairly well I feel, and the variety of modes (including one in which the series' infamous permanent character death is not present) makes it easier than it's ever going to be again to get newcomers to the RPG Strategy genre involved
