The tablet itself is fairly decent, however, the Amazon App store is terrible!!

Amazon App Store is missing a ton of popular applications.

The first thing I did when I got this tablet was download the google play store since the amazon App Store is very limited

And the Amazon app store is very limiting

Great graphics, great price, the only negative is using the Amazon app store which is VERY limited

The Amazon app store is pretty limited but you can easily "jailbreak" it to download from the Google play store

continuously.- Youtube app does not work with the latest FireOS update (June 14th, 2019).- Amazon app store is rather limited

Amazon apps store are loaded with apps, so not a problem regarding Google.

The Amazon App Store leans heavily toward games and other sorts of fritterware and eye candy

I also think the camera is not near as good as in my 8 1/2 HDX

It is pretty easy to operate, however a bit more limited and restrictive as it is tied to the Amazon App store.

the battery did not last 60 days, so disappointed as I have low vision and bought for the ereader b/c of the larger screen

If this one fails, I'll replace it, and keep on doing so as long as it's free, but I wouldn't buy this model again.

I'm constantly having to sleep it and wake it up again, because I can't unlock the screen ... because it freezes as soon as it "wakes
