hadCons:-a bit heavier than my previous Kindle FiresOverall even though I was initially frustrated with the Kindle Fire 8 charging issue there are well enough improvements for me to be happy buying the newest version of Fire 10

I have owned and both have had charging issues

This product does not hold a charge and we have had 2 of them, the smaller ones hold their charges but beware they can have charging place come loose and you will be replacing them aslo for charging issues.

The first unit had a charging issue - extremely loose USB connection

It is pretty easy to operate, however a bit more limited and restrictive as it is tied to the Amazon App store.

the battery did not last 60 days, so disappointed as I have low vision and bought for the ereader b/c of the larger screen

If this one fails, I'll replace it, and keep on doing so as long as it's free, but I wouldn't buy this model again.

I'm constantly having to sleep it and wake it up again, because I can't unlock the screen ... because it freezes as soon as it "wakes

What I didn't like is the volume for watching videos isn't as good as on my smart phone, especially on the TCM app.
