I am very disappointed with how dim the screen is

The screen is beautiful with vibrant colors and a fairly solid brightness range

I like the larger screen, I already had a kindle 8 and was pleased with it.

The screen is beautiful and I enjoy watching movies on it, but again it has to be on a bright setting which uses up the battery faster

I blame the fire hd, for its lack of durability, the screen protector because even though i bought the right screen for it there was still a bit not covered all around it which is where it got cracked from and Amazon's case which states it protects it but didnt

If I stay up late and read I have to read with the charger plugged and the length of the cord is much shorter than the cord for my 8.9 HDX.I'm going to keep this one because I stream TV and like to watch on the Fire while I'm cooking and the larger screen is nice for that
