The FT1 needed the sweet spot and reacted much slower to a turn of the tuning peg

The LCD display's combination of note/letter, "needle" reading, and colors (red for sharp, amber for flat, green on pitch) make finding the "sweet spot" for each string a snap, even for beginners, and even when other stuff is going on all around you.
