For the price, I would recommend going with a regular lever type punch or investing in a cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette if you do lots of cutting

and then the punch was doing a poor job, getting stuck and not making clean cuts

No cuts on one side, it seems that that is not sharpened on one side and only damages the product cut

Could not get a clean cut on a photo--ruined several photos--crumpled the photo and jagged circle.

These are a great cutting tool, but you definitely don't want to use them to cut something so thin.

The edge of the paper would just get pushed up, leaving a ragged edge, rather than a clean cut all the way around

It doesnt give a very clean cut, luckily I now have a custom-shape paper cutter that I use instead of most of my punches.

Im using ink jet printer paper and it pulls the paper not a clean cut at all.

It just does a lousy job cutting standard thin paper.
