It can drain the Fitbit battery up in 1-2 days if the "Always Sync" is turned on in the Fitbit app

After about a month the battery dies and only stays charged for a day or two.

Three Fitbits have had inferior batteries, sad I enjoyed them while they worked
-
This is the worst battery life of any Fitbit I've had
-
In fact, the last time I synced it, the battery said "medium" and then it promptly died -- 3 hours of activity not tracked

My ideal choice would be a melding of the Flex and the Zip: a replaceable battery, worn on the wrist (the clip-on Zip is far too easy to lose), and with a silent alarm.

Purchased Fitbit Flex in 2014 and as of last week, it no longer sync and only continuously vibrates until its battery is dead

It may over-record your steps, but at least the app is better and the battery lasts longer

I'd they don't like your activity - like, upgrading to a more expensive model every six months - they "ping" your device and drain the battery until you upgrade or give up; I have had this happen three times in six months, and each time this mysterious battery drain happens they recommend I upgrade to a more expensive model.

I had a full battery at 7 am today, barely checked my steps until this evening and the battery was too drained to sync.
