Easy assembly---about 10 minutes with locking pins, so very sturdy!

However, I can see how people with older eyes and fewer assembly skills and tools would find this unit annoying to assemble with it's microscopic picture instructions, tiny screws, and one especially awkward assembly step.

The two tier shelf unit is solid black, needs assembly (not too difficult), looks great and is holding my "28" inch TV with plenty of room to spare.
