There is a wonderful pocket that is the perfect size for a graphing calculator such as the TI-83 or 84 (a must in college), and the built-in pencil pouch is a must-have

I would not recommend this product for an active student, this product has broken twice at the handle area.
First the plus about it .. plenty of storage and neat pockets for other little items to keep in the binderHas a handle on it to actually carry more like a briefcase if needed

The zipper completely fell apart 1 month in to school rendering the binder useless.
The handle broke within the first few weeks.. they sent me a new one and that lasted a month and the Handle broke again
We had one previously like this one that lasted 3 months and the handle broke off.
