there are no assembly instructions in the box, this is NOT a good desk for a table top computer, better suited for laptop or small all-in-one computer.

Otherwise, the shelf is strong enough to support most any display up to 32".-Mighty nice purchase at the price I paid...now at $70.00, I'm not all that certain I would give it two looks over some of the other offerings in that price range.

Cons:-One of the riser pieces (see pic) for top shelf was a little bent to it didn't screw in as well but its not noticeable.- the main shelf does not go under the top shelf so there is an opening of dead space.- top shelf rises up only about 3 1/4"
However, all-in-all, it is a fairly attractive 'space-saver' desk that is sturdy enough to see light to moderate use.
It's perfect for a laptop with just enough extra space for writing or accessories
Width and length are pretty tight its a great addition for small rooms where space is concern.
there is just enough space for keyboard, mouse, and a cup of coffee.
