It also has a nice small footprint when fully collapsed against the wall, which makes installing a 2 gang outlet & low voltage combo box for power and AV cables hidden behind the TV much easier.

It restricts the amount you can turn horizonally with a wider 50" TV a because it doesn't extend from the wall enough.
