There are no helpful Youtube videos on how to properly setup this particular mixer and after I've asked numerous DJs they all said buy a different mixer which I did and boy Behringer works a hell of a lot better with much more control.

you have to put the gain up to 8 or 9 for vocals, and with a condenser mic ( Audio-Technica AT2035) maybe at 8 or 7, what I was getting before with a M-audio Fast Track at maybe 4 or 3.5
