Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 (1st GENERATION) 6 In/6 Out USB 2.0 Audio Interface With Two Focusrite Mic Preamps

    • Worked fine within first year but then when turned on unfit and opened software it instructed me to download latest software or otherwise won't work
    • The mixer software works really well and gives you control over relative levels for zero latency monitoring, as well as independent headphones mixes
    • 4 stars out of 5 only because the software is awkward to say at least
    • The mixer software works really well and gives you control over relative levels for zero latency monitoring, as well as independent headphones mixes
    • Haven't used it a lot yet, but it sounds good and I like the software app which supports it.
    • Easy to set up and the software for configuration is easy to use.
    • The software is terrible
    • The Saffire software for the 6i6 is just not fun, the mapping of each input and output is just a run around loop-dey-loop, it sucks
    • All in all, if you look passed the mediocre software interface, you'll not regret the results
    • this interfaces is pretty amazing for the price, although, the software is not that good at all
    • I've read reviews saying that the software is confusing and difficult to set up, but I couldn't disagree more
    • Excallent devise with excellent software.
    • The hardware is great and the software is somewhat of a learning curve, but once you have it mastered you'll appreciate this jewel of a find for the money
    • You'll just need to decide what recording software you prefer; the Scarlett is just the interface.
    • Anyway, I think some other software I loaded (new system) caused a conflict with the Roland drivers and I could not get the Quad's ASIO driver to be recognized by the Triple Play software.
    • I love the driver software which has a mixer that lets you configure just about anything you can imagine.
    • The software it comes with is fantastic, like the compressors and the scarlett mix control
    • Registration does keep the software ready to download at your convenience, and this eliminates the need to keep track of a bunch of discs.
    • The software is only as complex as your routing is
    • Very nice mixer software too
    • Software is much more intuitive than what I thought from research.
    • The software installed without issue and it works perfectly with Logic Pro and GarageBand.
    • Software is another issue... download the drivers directly.[edit
    • The mixer is as close to silent as you can get.
